Pyrgos
Village gave life to the settlement
at the village of Vollissos
respecting its history of traditions. |

Realization
of a vision that no photo can
depict! A traditional settlement
that was restored because of
a bet and out of strong spite
so as to reverse the status
quo.
The idea was germinated in 1989.
The first house was then restored
and today is the biggest one
in the settlement. Having this
as a starting-point, an important
work was realized and the child's
dream of the revival of Volissos
village was fulfilled. |

Pyrgos
Village gave life to the village
of Volissos respecting its history
and traditions, as well as preserving
its architecture and all its
characteristics.
With special care, discretion
and respect of tradition, modern
comforts and luxury equipment
"dressed" with the
local colours and materials
were added. |

In
each one of the houses all the
preexistent rooms have been
preserved. For this reason every
house is special and different
from the others.
Stone and wood are the dominant
materials here. These, in combination
with the furniture and the traditional
decorative objects predispose
relaxing and reposing moments,
in a village that respects the
independence and the private
life of each guest.

All
houses bear the name of a God,
demigod, muse or hero of Ancient
Greece. From the garden, the
veranda or the balcony, the
houses of the settlement - depending
on their location
- enjoy the view of the beautiful
sea, the fortress of Volissos,
the narrow streets of the village
or the important old church
of Saint George.
The houses of Pyrgos Village
are assisted by the Reception,
where the guests can be informed
about whatsoever throughout
their holidays and can also
ask for any services they will
require during their stay. At
the traditional cafe of the
village, the guests will enjoy
local tastes only and pass peacefull
moments by the fireplace in
the winter.
When summer approaches, the
company is transferred to the
paved yard of the cafe, under
the umbrellas.
